Building Future Peace Ambassadors through Sport

Young people from 13 to 17 years old from different communities who participate in PDRI sports activities especially Dodgeball are learning about peace, respect, conflict resolution, and peaceful communication. They are also sharing ideas on how they can become future peace ambassadors in their communities.

PDRI believes that sport is not only for physical fitness and developing young talents. We also integrate peacebuilding training and psychosocial support into our sports activities to help young people grow into responsible and peaceful leaders of tomorrow.

Every week, PDRI organizes 1 days for peacebuilding and psychosocial support sessions and 3 days for practical sports activities. This helps young people learn both life skills and sports skills in a peaceful and supportive environment.
