Association of Working Children and Youth - DRC

In Uvira, AEJT-DRC, with financial support from GIZ through the QUALIPRO project, continues to promote the economic empowerment of displaced women and urban refugees. After receiving practical training in livestock farming and simplified management of income-generating activities, the beneficiaries received concrete support to start their livestock farming businesses. As part of this initiative, AEJT-DRC distributed rabbits to 100 other displaced women and urban refugees, each receiving three rabbits to launch a small-scale livestock farming operation. This initiative aims to improve their livelihoods, strengthen household food security, and generate income through rabbit breeding and sales.
