Association of Working Children and Youth - DRC
In Uvira, AEJT-DRC, with financial support from GIZ through the QUALIPRO project, is continuing its work to promote the economic empowerment of displaced women and urban refugees. Following practical training in agricultural techniques and income-generating activities, beneficiaries received material support to strengthen their production activities. As part of this initiative, AEJT-DRC distributed agricultural kits containing sprayers, hoes, watering cans, rakes, and machetes, as well as improved seeds, to 100 displaced and urban refugee women. This initiative aims to improve agricultural production, strengthen household food security, and contribute to the economic recovery of vulnerable families in Uvira. ???
