Courage in crisis time!

Yesterday, Fountain of Hope Africa started the week with hope and new beginnings as we provided small business grants to a new group of young women entrepreneurs from Karisimbi, Goma after successfully completing their business skills training.

At a time when communities in Eastern DRC continue to face worsening humanitarian challenges caused by ongoing conflict, displacement, economic hardship, and the impact of Ebola, many women are struggling daily to provide for their families and rebuild their lives.

These small grants represent more than financial support — they are an opportunity for these young women to restore dignity, create sustainable livelihoods, support their children, and contribute positively to their communities. Through their businesses, they are becoming part of the resilience and recovery that Eastern DRC urgently needs.

The needs remain immense, and many more families are still waiting for opportunities to rebuild their futures with dignity.
