On 1st October 2025, Hope Away from Home (HAH) joined millions across the world to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons — a special moment to honor the strength, resilience, and wisdom of the elderly in our communities.

In Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, we stood side by side with our elderly brothers and sisters, sharing messages of dignity, care, and hope for a world where every older person lives with respect and love.
