Weekly Sudan and Chad Update

Last week, we opened a kitchen in Abu Karinka, East Darfur, serving 250 students with support from ‘Love for Humanity – Singapore’. Over 600 sandwiches were distributed on day one. Kitchens in Heridanah, White Nile, and Bahri served 1,550 daily meals. Amid a measles outbreak, Hope and Haven for Refugees and Darfur Victims Advocacy gave urgent aid to Shangil Tobaya Emergency Room, supporting 1,750 households. With the Darfur Victim Support Organisation, we distributed food baskets to 200 families in Al-Nakhil IDP Camp, but over 1,000 families remain in need. In Abu Hubeira, White Nile, 45 food baskets were given to vulnerable families. The School Furniture Support Initiative in Tawila, North Darfur, was completed. Our Adre Refugee Camp clinic treated 473 patients.
