Hope and haven refugees

This week in Sudan and Chad.

As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts, we supported the S&J Initiative in distributing meals to orphan children in Golo, Central Darfur. 70 children aged 4-15 received meals.  The children still need blankets, mats, mattresses, clothing and shoes.  Alongside DVSO, we provided safe drinking water to displaced families fleeing from El Fasher and its camps in Golo, Central Darfur. The project will last 7 days, providing 2 tankers of water daily. Our kitchens in Heridanah, White Nile, and Bahri served 1,550 daily meals.  

In Chad, between the 25th of April and the 7th of May, our hot daily meal program recorded 440–500 children per day during both morning and evening meal distributions. This week, our free medical clinic treated 523 patients.
