Hope and haven refugees

This week at Hope and Haven:
Alongside DVSO, we carried out a food basket distribution for 100 families  of malnourished children in Al Nakheel Camp.

The second week of our food kitchen in Abu Karinka saw daily meals served up to approximately 250 students. Alongside S&J, we implemented a meal support initiative at our Golo Kitchen for orphaned and vulnerable children without caregivers, targeting 70 children aged 4 to 15. We also, along with DVSO, continued to provide safe drinking water to families in Golo Locality.

In partnership with DVSO and Yes She Is for Peace and Development Organisation, we successfully organised a Psychosocial Support Workshop in the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement, Uganda. A total of 25 women beneficiaries participated in the workshop.

Our kitchens in Alhalfaya, Wad Alnoura and Heridanah served up a total of. 1600 free daily meals. Additionally, our Wad Alnoura kitchen provided juice and cake to middle school students sitting for their exams.
