Nurture Now, Early Childhood Matters

HARD Uganda under the SPARK ECD Project, with subgrant from RELON Uganda. We successfully trained 25 Caregivers and Early Childhood Development (ECD) Champions to strengthen community-level support for quality early childhood development.

Implemented in line with the advocacy theme “Nurture Now, Early Childhood Matters,” this activity is part of the BEACON Project, subgranted by RELON Uganda with funding from the Hilton Foundation.

The training enhanced skills in nurturing care, early learning, child protection, and responsive caregiving, positioning participants as key community advocates.

They will now champion ECD advocacy, promote positive parenting, raise awareness, support and refer vulnerable children, and facilitate peer learning contributing to sustainable, community-driven systems where every child gets a strong start in life. ?
