NGUZO OPPORTUNITY PROMOTION EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE -NOPEI

NOPEI is committed to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for sustainable agriculture and food nutrition. We teach and support people, especially refugees on how to make the best use of their small or large pieces of land to grow nutritious food. Our goal is to help communities improve their health, strength, and overall well being through better food practices. Many diseases like blood loss and malnutrition are caused by a lack of vegetables in diets, often due to limited knowledge about their importance and how to grow them. That’s why hashtag#NOPEI, in partnership with hashtag#Tomorrow Vijana, is working to educate and empower communities on growing vegetables, improving nutrition, and earning income from their harvests. Together, we are finding ways to fight diseases caused by poor nutrition and to support families to live healthier, stronger lives. We also teach them how to generate income from their crops so they can buy what their families need.
