TOMORROW VIJANA
over the last week, Tomorrow Vijana together with Disability Africa through the Rwamwanja Inclusion Project supported 29 children with impairments with clothes and casual shoes to promote their wellbeing, dignity, comfort, and inclusion. Each child received pairs of clothing including jackets, sweaters, trousers, dresses and 2 footwears
We also held a parents’ engagement meeting where “The Game of Life” created a safe and interactive space for parents to share experiences, discuss disability in their own understanding, and reflect on ways to improve the lives of their children and families.
As a positive step forward, parents proposed starting a monthly savings group to strengthen economic wellbeing and unity among caregivers. Building inclusion goes beyond support materials , it is about restoring confidence, dignity, participation, and hope.
