TOMORROW VIJANA
16 Days of Activism Against GBV "End Digital Violence Against Women & Girls Break the Cycle of GBV and Food Insecurity" Tomorrow Vijana joined partners in Rwamwanja to raise awareness on how food insecurity and unequal access to nutrition are forms of GBV, affecting women and girls the most. Key Highlights: - Radio Talk Show: Discussed nutrition & GBV with partners and community leaders. - Food Exhibition: Showcased iron-rich beans, OFSP, yellow maize & other nutritious foods. - Community Engagement: Empowered women and girls to speak out and claim their right to nutritious food. The Reality: Women often eat last, have limited decision-making power on food, leading to poor maternal health and child malnutrition. Our Message: - Denying women and children nutritious food is GBV. - Let’s break the cycle of violence, inequality, and food insecurity.
