Today, on the Day of the African Child, we join the continent in calling for universal access to water, sanitation, and hygiene for every child in Africa.

For millions of children, especially those living in displacement sites, refugee camps and conflict-affected communities, access to safe water and sanitation remains a daily challenge. No child should have to miss school, risk illness, or lose their dignity because of a lack of clean water and hygiene facilities.

At Fountain of Hope Africa, we believe that access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right and a foundation for health, education, protection, and opportunity.

As we celebrate the resilience and potential of Africa's children, let us recommit to ensuring that no child, including those forced to flee their homes, is left behind.
