GEESI Development and Humanitarian Initiative

GEESI DHI volunteers engaged children aged 9–15 in an interactive session on the importance of physical exercise, healthy living, respect, and positive social behavior. The activity was followed by a solidarity football match between GSI (Green) and CoHERE (Blue), bringing together refugee and host community children under the theme “Until Everyone Is Safe.” Before kickoff, coaches delivered a brief talk on respect, teamwork, and anti-bullying. Through mixed-team play, the event fostered friendship, reduced tensions, strengthened trust, and promoted social cohesion among children from diverse backgrounds.
