A reading community is an informed community! If this is true, why is so little effort put into building a reading community? Global statistics show that South Sudan is the most illiterate country in the world, with a 26.83% literacy rate according to Global Population Review, while countries like Finland, South Korea, and Norway boast 100%. Fortunately, most of the people we serve are from South Sudan, and we are excited to be part of transforming South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.

That's why the Creative Learning Haven project implemented by HoRiSS exists, and we see the impact every day.
