Last Week at Hope and Haven

Heavy rains have flooded our humanitarian site in Adré Refugee Camp, causing severe damage to our tents and disrupting the services we provide to thousands of Sudanese refugees.

Our medical clinic, child feeding centre, and community support activities are now at serious risk. To continue serving vulnerable families, we urgently need to:

• Relocate our operations to safer ground.

• Repair and reinforce damaged tents.

• Purchase new shelter materials and drainage supplies.

• Protect essential medical equipment and humanitarian supplies from further flooding.

Our food kitchens continued serving plus +1000 daily meals across Alhalfaya, Wad Al Noura and Heridanah. Our food kitchen for children in Golo, Central Darfur, continued serving meals with thanks to S&J Together for Sudan. It is with deep regret, we announce that the Alhalfaya Community Kitchen has been forced to suspend operations due to a lack of funding.
