Outreach and Handcrafts Initiators for Development (OHID)

OHID under livelihood, has conducted a session on Post-harvest handling within the settlement in Kyempango A1 where farmers were taken through pre and post harvest session, are guided on post harvest measures to combat losses occuring during harvesting period, community members who attended the session appreciated for the knowledge shared with them and noted best way of harvesting, drying, sorting, storing and value addition of their crops, they promissed to share such knowledge with fellow farmers for their resilience. Farmers appreciated for thession but still have challenge of tarpaulins to dry on their crops, request whoever interested in support to hand in anything to respond to such challenges. OHID as refugee led organization, will continue delivering trainings as required to make them resilient, all of us for sustainable development, our community is our priority.
