Outreach and Handcrafts Initiators for Development (OHID)

On 29th June 2026, OHID team conducted a successful field visit to Tusonge Mbele Group in Nkoma A as part of our commitment to strengthening community-led development and self-reliance.

The team trained group members on proper record keeping to enhance transparency, accountability, and financial management; Officially handed over the group's Constitution and guided members through the signing process as they are to go for certificate renewal at Nkoma-Katalyeba Town Council. Advised the group on opening a bank account to ensure the safe custody, security, and proper management of their savings. Facilitated enterprise Selection Exercise using Pairwise Ranking tool, enabling members to prioritize the most profitable, sustainable farming enterprises for the upcoming season.
