Root of Generations

Imagine facing unimaginable hardship, yet still finding the strength to learn and grow. That's the story of 4,783 Sudanese women in Gorom Refugee Camp. Root of Generations recently provided trauma healing, social-emotional learning, and basic entrepreneurship training, but funding constraints prevented us from providing crucial start-up capital to all the eager participants. These women are ready to rebuild their lives, but they need our help. With UNHCR deprioritizing livelihood and psychosocial support due to funding cuts, these women are left with limited options. Out of the 4783 we reached to 168 women we grouped them into 15 group each group varies and each group received $700 These women are not just victims of circumstance; they are survivors, entrepreneurs, and mothers striving to create a better future for themselves and their families. They have the resilience, the skills, and the determination. All they need is our support. Please, open your heart and give generously. Together, we can plant seeds of hope in the darkness and empower these women to rebuild their lives let’s give them the hand up they deserve. Donate today
