Safe environmental organization (Refugee lead organization) currently is conducting higher Connected learning program from June to November at Dadaab refugee camp northeastern Kenya, after they got funding through cohere The Project beneficiaries are two types (1) Direct beneficiaries 40 learners 26 boys and 14 girls. Those will be provided data bundles (monthly) to search and attend zoom meetings,and at the end certificate. (2) indirect beneficiaries are 20, 15 boys and 5 girls. They will benefit the lessons but will not be provided data bundles and certificate because they were not planned at the beginning and will sign disclaimers consent form.

From July 2024 safe environment organization Member Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) participated in a capacity strengthening training organized by Cohere on online. The training aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of member organizations to increase their effectiveness in project management, and service delivery. Objectives: - Equip member organizations with the skills to better manage their day to day activities. - Improve understanding of PROJECT MANAGEMENT related to refugee PROJECT and humanitarian work. - Strengthen the capacity for strategic advocacy and community engagement. During the training, the participants gained a better understanding of PROJECT MANAGEMENT affecting refugee populations. Improved ability to manage projects and resources effectively. Strengthened advocacy strategies to better represent the refugee community and influence policy. Established stronger networks among the RLOs, paving the way for more collaborative initiatives. From now onwards, the SEO members will implement the strategies learned in upcoming projects and advocacy efforts. Conduct a follow-up sessions for specialized training in IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT M&E, and advocacy. Enhance the ongoing collaboration with COHERE for continued support and guidance. Note. The capacity strengthening training was successful in providing the Safe environmental organization Member other RLOs with valuable skills and knowledge. The participants expressed their appreciation for the opportunity and emphasized the importance of continuous learning to meet the evolving needs of the refugee and host communities. #cohere #SEO #Advocacy
