Today, we officially began beneficiary registration, marking another important milestone in our response to communities affected by the ongoing conflict. Every household registered here represents a family with urgent needs and renewed urgency for support. Despite the operational challenges and insecurity, our dedicated teams continue working alongside local communities to ensure assistance is delivered fairly, transparently, and to those who need it most. #Sudan

We are proud to share that, through the generous support of the Global Whole Being Fund, we have successfully reached displaced families in South Kordofan State, specifically at Ere IDP Camp.

A total of 264 households received essential food assistance, including sorghum' Sudan’s staple and most widely consumed food alongside salt.

While we remain deeply aware that this number is modest in comparison to the continued and overwhelming influx of displaced persons, this intervention has provided critical, immediate relief.

For these supported households, it means access to food and a measure of stability in the days ahead—an outcome made possible through collective commitment and solidarity.

In the Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan, a region facing declared famine and a long history of protracted conflict, including violence in Dilling, Kadugli, and surrounding areas, displaced communities continue to endure severe hardships, particularly in access to food, shelter, and education.

With support from the Global Whole Being Fund, HRRDS conducted a priority needs assessment and beneficiary registration to better identify and support displaced families most affected by the crisis. Distribution update coming soon 🔜
