About Alpha TechVerse

Welcome to Alpha TechVerse, a beacon of hope and transformation in the heart of Dzaleka Camp, Malawi. Established in September 2020 by a dedicated group of young programmers and designers, our organization is on a mission to empower and uplift refugee youth through cutting-edge technological education. In the face of the unemployment crisis among the incredibly talented youth in Dzaleka, we identified a pressing need for comprehensive technical skills training. Our unique solution not only imparts essential skills in computer literacy, IT, graphic design, and web development but goes a step further by facilitating practical application and fostering a supportive community of like-minded individuals. Recognizing the gender disparity in technology education, we are committed to achieving gender parity in our classes, ensuring that young women and girls have equal access to these transformative opportunities. At Alpha TechVerse, we don't just train; we create pathways to employment, provide internship opportunities, and guide graduates towards freelancing careers for long-term job security. As a testament to our impact, we have successfully graduated 42 students, securing 13 jobs for our graduates, with 8 working online and 5 on-site. We are proud to share the success story of one graduate who is now thriving as a hotel manager in town. Our innovative approach is not just about education; it's about changing lives, bridging the skills gap, and fostering economic independence. However, to continue this vital work, we need your support. Your contribution will help us expand our reach, empower more youth, and make a lasting impact on the Dzaleka community. Join us at Alpha TechVerse in shaping a brighter future through technology, one life at a time.
