Arise Youth Foundation is a refugee youth-led organization dedicated to empowering refugees in Kyaka II, enabling them to cultivate sustainable livelihoods from their passions. We focus on nurturing job creators and change-makers within the refugee community, fostering self-learning spaces that allow young refugees to unleash their potential, create opportunities, and develop their passions into social businesses. Through these initiatives, our goal is to address the most pressing issues within the refugee camp and contribute positively to Ugandan society. Since our inception in 2020, we have made a significant impact on the lives of 1,012 individuals. Additionally, 12 social enterprises have emerged as a result of our efforts, creating a substantial social impact by generating employment opportunities among refugees on a larger scale.
