Bright Yeace Foundation
YEACE is a Refugee led organization ( RLO) led by young girls for the reintegration and development of the refugees ; host community and vulnerable people
Bright Yeace Foundation, commonly known as YEACE (Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance for Community Empowerment), is a Refugee-Led Organization (RLO) founded and led by young people, with a strong leadership of young girls, and dedicated to the sustainable development of refugees, host communities, and vulnerable populations.
YEACE was established in response to the daily challenges faced by young refugees and host community members—especially young girls, who are disproportionately affected by unemployment, poverty, gender inequality, limited access to education, and barriers to social and economic inclusion. Confronted with these realities, YEACE was created as a platform for action, training, and leadership, placing girls at the center of decision-making, program implementation, and community transformation.
Our commitment is driven by a clear and transformative vision: to transform vulnerability into opportunity and to build inclusive communities where girls and young people can lead, innovate, thrive, and actively contribute to collective well-being.
As a girl-led organization, YEACE firmly believes that empowering girls is not only a matter of equity, but also a powerful driver of sustainable development, social cohesion, and community resilience.
YEACE works to reduce unemployment, create economic opportunities, and promote social integration through practical, inclusive, and sustainable programs in entrepreneurship, education, agriculture, fish farming (aquaculture), agribusiness, and community development. Since its inception, YEACE has prioritized interventions in areas where needs are most urgent, particularly:
girls’ and youth access to education and skills development;
economic empowerment and entrepreneurship for young girls;
leadership development and employability;
sustainable livelihoods and food security.
We strongly believe that when girls and young people are equipped with the tools to learn, create, and grow, they become powerful agents of change capable of transforming their own lives and strengthening their communities.
Today, YEACE has progressively established itself as a credible, innovative, and impact-driven RLO, recognized for its community-rooted approach and accountability. In addition to its social and educational programs, YEACE has developed income-generating activities (IGAs) to strengthen sustainability and local economic impact. These include:
the production of high-quality white and coloured school chalk for schools, learning centers, organizations, and distributors;
community-based agriculture initiatives;
fish farming (aquaculture) projects led by young people, with a strong focus on girls’ participation.
These initiatives enable YEACE to:
produce affordable, locally made products;
train and employ young people from vulnerable backgrounds, with priority given to refugee girls;
strengthen food security and livelihoods within refugee and host communities;
enhance the organization’s financial sustainability.
