Changia Africa organization LTD is a company limited by guarantee working at national level as a refugee Led -organization , Changia Africa is a member of RELON Uganda. Changia Africa aim to promote sustainable development and social change in Africa our interventions are Early childhood development and Education, livelihood programs, Leadership and Business Entrepreneurship, Advocacy, Emergency Assistance, health care and Art, expertise the interest relates to the field of film Acting and production, visual and media studies, child protection, human trafficking, peace building . Changia offers a range of programs supporting the refugee community in Uganda. Formal education is provided at Changia nursery and primary school located in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. We train adults in various life and vocational skills such as entrepreneurship, production of sanitary pads and permaculture. Volunteers Our work would not be possible without our volunteers. In addition to formal learning materials and training provided by Changia they use their own knowledge and experience to support others in the community. We are an organization by refugees, of refugees and for refugees. Today, Changia provides education for 200 children aged 3 to 18. Since 2016 to now children have graduated from our school.
