Education in Crisis is a two time award winning registered non-governmental organization with registration number 00NGO/R/4348 whose mission is to promote inclusive, equitable, quality education for poverty alleviation and sustainable development. EIC’s head office domiciled in Arusha, Tanzania operates in 6 African countries advancing children and youth’s right to education including in hard to reach places and conflict areas. We believe in the power and potential of every child and youth when empowered with quality education through secondary and post-secondary scholarship for every child and youth to reach their full potential. The organization is led by youth from 7 African countries who mobilize local resources from local people to solve local problems facing local people in Africa. We drive local solutions from within and advocate for policy change at local, national, and regional levels on education financing using our reach, experience, and knowledge for over 4 years.
