Friends Church Kakuma Initiative for Development is a Community based organization created in 2019 with Friends Church members under initiative of Pastor Alex Bwanamoya Mchukiwa and Ma‘ano Lupande Marcel. II. VISION: We commit to a better future in every aspect of community life and offer sustainable hope in their future life. III. MISSION: • To promote, guarantee solidarity and development and peace among the refugee and host communities. • Raise awareness and involve the refugee community and host community wherever they are in development of their environment. IV. OBJECTIVES: The objectives for which the Organization is established shall be; • Preparation of better future life for our children, by establishing a day care kindergarten and primary education that will help them to transition periods between kindergarten and primary school and help them to adapt slowly and finally enter higher levels of education. • To promote a self-dependent environment by providing job opportunities among refugees and host community. • Assisting the community in overcoming the consequences of life that occur in their daily lives • To educate refugees and host community V.
