Hope for Refugees and Action (HRA CBO) is a dedicated community-led organization based in the Kakuma Refugee Camp. Our mission is to empower displaced populations and host communities through sustainable interventions in health, education, and economic self-reliance. By fostering local solutions to systemic challenges, HRA CBO works to restore dignity and build resilient futures for all.Core Program Areas1. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)We promote a clean and disease-free environment through integrated health initiatives:Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS): Mobilizing the community to eliminate open defecation and improve latrine coverage.Solid Waste Management: Implementing systematic collection and disposal to maintain community hygiene.Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM): Providing education and resources to support the health and dignity of women and girls.Vector Control: Reducing the spread of water-borne and insect-borne diseases through active prevention and mitigation.2.
