The Light of Tomorrow For Widows and Orphans, CBO based in Kakurma 3 Zone 9
Our main objectives Are:
To Provide emotional support and create a supportive community environment for widows and orphans who may be socially isolated or marginalized.
To Facilitate access to basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare for widows and orphans who may lack adequate resources.
To Offer educational support such as scholarships, school supplies, and vocational training to empower widows and orphans to become self-sufficient.
To Provide livelihood support through microfinance, small business training, or income-generating activities to help widows and orphans achieve financial independence.
To Offer legal aid and advocacy services to protect the rights of widows and orphans, especially regarding inheritance, property rights, a GBV and social benefits.
To Promote health awareness and provide healthcare services, including counseling and support for widows and orphans dealing with health challenges.
To Raise awareness about the issues faced by widows and orphans, advocating for policy changes and societal attitudes that support their rights and well-being.
