NEW LIGHT OF YOUTH UGANDA is a non-profit in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement, Kamwenge District, Uganda, dedicated to empowering young people in refugee and host communities. Our mission is to break down barriers to education, develop skills, and build sustainable livelihoods. Through three- to six-month training programs, we equip youth with practical skills in entrepreneurship, agriculture, health, and trades, enabling them to tackle local challenges and create solutions. We partner with NGOs, businesses, and agencies, providing resources, mentorship, and support. Beyond skill-building, we foster resilience, leadership, and confidence, encouraging graduates to become community role models. NEW LIGHT OF YOUTH aims to expand its impact, transforming lives through education, empowerment, and sustainable change.
