On this beautiful Monday, '' Peace and happiness'' continue to implement early childhood education and development at the center.

today we conducted morning assembly focused on hygiene, routine and teamwork. children then engaged in structured learning activities building early literacy and numeracy skills in a peaceful environment. we appreciate donners ''COHERE and Global Wellbeing fund'' for continuing to support this young vulnerable children in our communities.

as we continue our early childhood education activities at PEACE and HAPPINES, today children from top class were happy, attentive and actively participating in lessons with available learning materials,

however the center requires additional support for learning materials and classroom furniture to improve quality learning.

As second term began, we were happy to attend a session in baby class, the topic of the day was dancing, jumping and counting challenge.

Ntenungi, Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement

Today, we were in Ntenungi with one of our groups composed of parents of children with disabilities. Together, we are working on initiatives to improve livelihoods within the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement.

These dedicated parents cultivate their fields to meet the needs of their children and strengthen their family economy. Their commitment shows that education is not limited to the walls of a classroom; it is lived every day, in the fields, within families, and across the community.

With our partners, we believe it is possible to support this vulnerable community in building a better future. By empowering parents, we also give children with disabilities the opportunity to grow up in an environment where inclusion, dignity, and hope are nurtured daily.

At peace and happiness ECD center base camp 1, Rwamwanja refugee settlement we celebrated our first term graduation of 2026 early childhood education, 184 young children from baby, middle and top class, the center began with 193 children, some dropedout due to long distance walking and fees,

During this activities peace and happiness conducted awareness session to 107 parent/guardian, local leaders and stake holders on strengthening child protection and safeguarding measures, reporting abuse, child right, positive parenting, child nutrition, and school fees planning,

we used our cultural music dance and drama MDD to raise awareness on GBV prevention and reporting, to create peace building, conflict resolution, to build confidence and a resilient community and preserve culture, partner with us to support this young children and the entire community.
