"YP-CARE"( Youth-led Plastic Recycling for Climate Action and Circular Economy)
It is a flagship PICKNET initiative that empower refugee and host-community youth and women to transform waste into valuable, marketable products. Through hands-on recycling skills, climate smart-innovation and green entrepreneurship training, YP-CARE reduce environmental pollution, strengthens climate resilience, and opens livelihood sustainable opportunities for vulnerable young people.
This initiative builds a local circular economy where waste becomes wealth, and youth become climate champions.

PICKNET was honoured to stand alongside partners to celebrate the International Day of People with Disabilities.
As at 24th November, 2025, there were a training about GBV held on UNHCR Boardroom.
At PICKNET, preventing Gender-Based Violence is a core part of our all programs.
We work with yiuth, women and single mothers to ensure they are safe, informed and empowered.
We train them to understand GBV, their right and where to seek help.
PICKNET is thrilled to exhibit some of activities running through Creative Youth Hub and Training Centre.
We invite Partners and Donors to promote this cause.
PICKNET with other patners and RLOs operating in Rwamwanja Redugee Settlement participated in the function of launching 16 Days of Activism Against GBV.
At PICKNET, we involve GBV in all our programs for GBV awareness.

Maendeleo group from Mahega, Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement has received the grant from Pure Gospel Uganda through collaboration with PICKNET.
They have received raw materials for weaving mats, hats, house of pigs was built, they have received 5 pigglets, 1 shelve, 1 big table and 1 sewing machine and the house was paid for 5 months.
