PICKNET stands for Poverty,Injustice Consultancy and Kids Network; It is a a Refugee Led-Organisation and formed by Refugee women whose their objectives of empowering refugees and Host communities through education both formal and informal and support children with disabilities and orphans through livelihoods initiatives. We have also a vision of recovering social and economic potentials of Refugee communities for a sustainable development and its mission of empowering and advocating resources to enable positive social and economic transformation among refugees and Host communities. At PICKNET, we promote education both formal and informal and training of youth and vulnerable communities to help them lead a dignified life and contribute to society. We base on Vocational training skills where we train Tailoring and garment cutting, Hair dressing and cosmetology and hair shaving/cutting and Creative Industry including Videography and Photography, hand craft art including weaving different items. We also focus on Child Protection. PICKNET is basing on Livelihood and psychosocial support. We believe that education both formal and informal and livelihood are the key to eraducate cycle of poverty and injustice. Our motto: Youth and Women First.
