Its mission is to deliver inclusive and sustainable livelihoods interventions that enhance income generation, skills development, market access, and long-term economic resilience.RRI implements market-driven, gender-responsive, and environmentally sustainable livelihoods programming with a strong focus on women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. Core interventions include vocational and skills training aligned with local market demand, support to income-generating activities and small enterprises, promotion of Village Savings and Loan Associations to enhance financial inclusion, and climate-smart agriculture initiatives to improve food security and household income. The organization further strengthens market linkages and value chains through collective marketing, value addition, and integration into local supply chains. Cross-cutting priorities across all interventions include gender equality, youth leadership, disability inclusion, environmental sustainability, and conflict-sensitive approaches that promote social cohesion between refugees and host communities.RRI works in close coordination with settlement authorities, local government, community leadership structures, and humanitarian actors within the UNHCR-led refugee response framework. Through its integrated livelihoods approach, RRI aims to increase household incomes, reduce aid dependency, improve food security and nutrition, enhance employability, and strengthen social cohesion.Looking ahead, RRI is committed to scaling up its livelihoods programming through market-oriented approaches, digital and green livelihoods, stronger private sector engagement, and clearly defined sustainability and exit strategies.
