Background Refugee Active Peace Building Initiative (RAPBI) is a community-based nonprofit organization formed on June 22, 2018, and now registered in Terego district with registration number 636/068 and it is also incorporated and registered as a company limited by guarantee with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, with registration number 80034851717425 With its new Name as Rhino Refugee Active Peace Building Initiative. Aware of the fact that Terego District is faced with enormous problems which among others include , governance Challenges , abject poverty, illiteracy, high infant mortality, environmental degradation, cross border issues and conflicts, lack of initiative, information, and collective commitment by the people. Inspired by the fact that solving the above issues rest in the hands of youth, the founders of RAPBI saw it necessary to come together to champion response to the above challenges in partnership with other stakeholders to collectively address some of the above problems prevalent in the region. Our Vision is to enhance peace between Refugees and host with improved Healthy communities which have sustainable income generating activities and environmental conservation knowledge.
