About SAWA Innovations Hub

SAWA Innovations Hub, is a registered network of refugee led-organization of Bidibidi that is conscious of the challenges facing our People and the related impact on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions Convinced that the responsibility for overall development in a community rest with the community members especially starting with the young people. Emphasizing that it is timely and imperative to launch an effective non-partisan, autonomous, open, and non-governmental network, in this regard, of refugee-led organizations, to facilitate the process of promoting these values in our community and the whole world. Affirming our will to work tirelessly in solidarity with other progressive networks in any country in the world to strengthen community, social, and economic responsibility.

To unite refugee-led organizations with common goals and interest for advocacy and resource mobilization towards solving challenges in our communities.

Additional location: Bidibidi refugee settlement is the biggest refugee hosting settlement in Africa and the third in the world, accommodating over 230,000 refugee. SAWA Network work with over 46 refugee led-organization who are front liner in delivering humanitarian service to the refugee and host community.
