Two days since we joined to launch the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, a global movement to challenge violence against women and girls. This annual campaign runs from November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to December 10, Human Rights Day ¹. At YFTC, we're committed to empowering women, girls, and youth with the skills necessary for their survival and employability. We’re thrilled to announce the successful orientation of our newly onboarded students for the Digital Learning and Digital Skilling Project! 80 students, across Zone 1 (Wahda ICT Hub) and Zone 4 (Innovation Center), will undergo intensive hands-on ICT training, over the next month, followed by intermediate skills development. Today, our team had a productive inception meeting with key stakeholders at Wahda ICT Hub (Zone 1). Together, we discussed a roadmap to equip refugee and host communities with essential digital skills, neccessary for boosting their employability and self-reliance. In partnership with UNHCR, we're excited to be training over 200 participants in practical skills to enhance their job prospects in the short coming months. Community leaders have pledged to champion this initiative, ensuring inclusivity and mobilization. Together, we're transforming communities and unlocking potential!

"The free internet has helped me finish my Graphic Design courses. Now, I can easily plan lessons and do research, young people who come to do their research finds it easy for them, others arrived to the chub before i could open, i can see the energy and the power of technology in boosting their resilience."
