Childrens Education

ECD Bondeko Young Genius, established in 2018 by Bondeko Refugee Livelihoods Center in Nsambya, Kampala, provides affordable, quality early childhood education to over 100 refugee and low-income Ugandan children annually. Recognizing that early education is foundational, we ensure marginalized families can access learning opportunities. To enhance sustainability, we formed a Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA) with parents, supported their registration as a Community-Based Organization, and linked them to Financial Service Providers. We also digitized VSLA operations and provided entrepreneurship training, enabling members to launch small businesses, improve livelihoods, and reliably pay school fees while fostering long-term self-reliance.
