Community Health

The objectives of this project are to motivate people to become aerobically fit, to gain an appreciation and benefits of aerobics workout, walking, jogging and running as lifetime fitness exercises, to stimulate the participation of refugees and host community in a health-related gymnastics activity and for a good interactive cohabitation. Help people to improve their self-esteem. Provide structure to recess times. As we have the objective of promoting sport and leisure, since 2018 we have launched dimly the activity of Aerobics Workout Gymnastic including the Healthy Walking and Jogging in Dzaleka Refugee Camp and Surrounding. Due to the immobility of refugee according to the fact that it is not allowed to a refugee and or asylum seeker person to go out of the refugee camp without an official authorization, many people suffer from emotion, lack of movement by day-to-day seating, sleeping and eating. Most of refugees and asylum seekers have always been in the Camp like in eternal enclosure without hope of time out. That’s why we introduced a kind of massive sport especially for adult people who do not do always physical exercises to prevent and struggle against different chronic diseases and assure the well-being for all.
