TRAYOL's we do tree nursery bed establishment and distribution to the households/institutions and we also do woodlot establishment where landlords have supported TRAYOL with piece of land free of charge and we always plant tree in the land for the landlords and usually our beneficiaries do Agro-farming by maintaining the tree through planting their food crops. So far the project constitutes of 5 acres 3 for brown teaks and 2 for Gmelina (White teak). The project is aimed at expanding to 7acres this year. Besides this project, TRAYOL also supports households with fruit trees such as jack fruits, pawpaw(papaya), avocado and including coffee a cash crop and they are having greater impacts in the community. The projects further empowers women on briquet making with the purpose of reducing deforestation. lastly the projects also sensitize the community both in the refugee setting and the host on the negative impacts of bush burning.
