About us

Partners for Community Health and Development Organisation is a Ugandan National Not for Profit NGO that was established in 2007 and registered with the NGO Board , Ministry of Internal Affairs in the year 2012 with the registration number 9230. PACHEDO is permitted to operate nation wide and has signed MoU with OPM to provide Humanitarian assistance and development programmes in conflict and post conflict settings of Northern Uganda including West nile. With programmes and interventions in the following areas: 1) Protection that includes GBV prevention and response, education, Mental health &Psychosocial support, Peace and Transition Justice. ii) Health and Nutrition( Maternal, Neonatal, Child and adolescent health and Nutrition), iii) Agric and Sustainable livelihoods, iv) WASH and v) climate change and environment. Targeting Women, Children and youth in conflict, post conflict and disaster affected communities.

Our Community and beneficiaries

Since 2007, PACHEDO has been committed in providing integrated humanterian and development support to refugees, formerly displaced communities of Northern Uganda and disaster affected communities of Eastern Uganda especially targeting vulnerable children and women such as Malnourished, Pregnant and Lactating women, other vulnerable in and out of school children, women, Youth and men exposed to violence and exclusion; the mentally ill, Persons living with HIV & AIDS, Adolescents with reproductive health challenges, unemployed youth, the older persons and persons with disability in conflict, post conflict, natural disaster affected and poor communities.

Other Operating Locations

The organization is mandated to operate across Uganda. However, with the current interventions, PACHEDO is active in the 14 districts of Northern, West Nile and North eastern Uganda with its main office in Gulu. It focuses its’ interventions both at Humanitarian/emergency and development and it has signed MoU with OPM. We currently have active projects in Lamwo, Bidibidi and Adjumani refugee settlements in Uganda.
