About Bio-Green

BIO-GREEN PROJECTS SUMMARY Nakivale refugee settlement is approximately 200 km away from Kampala city and is one of the oldest settlements In the country. It currently hosts around 119,587 refugees from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, Sudan, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Eritrea and other people most affected by poverty, climate change, war and political suppression from their home countries. Though many refugees in the area have been living there for several years, recent conflict in nearby countries are increasing the number of arrivals per day. we have seen and felt the consequences of all this and due to this we realized that we could not solve our global ground challenges with an old mindset that keep us on being miserable and continuously destroy all of us. This has motivated us to rethink systemic value to catapult all of us and regenerate this community by creating a new renaissance where we are creating new indicators that represent access to clean water; healthy food and quality education striving biodiversity equality, respect for human rights and maintain peace. MISSION Bio-Green Is Dedicated To Unleashing, Collaborating And Developing A Network Of Organic Food Growers Through Sustainable Food Production And Energy. Rebuilding A Regenerative Community Throughout Empowering Refugees Into Food, Ecosystem And Biodiversity Renaissance. VISION A Community In Which Natural Foods And Ecosystems Are Improving In Accessibility And Function, Resilience, And Productivity.
