CAPS is a non-profit, refugee-led organization founded on April 10, 2023, and established on January 10, 2024, by three like-minded youth refugees: Joel Mbirize, Pascal Placide Nshangalume, and Chakubuta Aoici. These founders, who have different life and work experiences in various sectors, share a vision of rescuing homeless and displaced persons by eradicating poverty and promoting sustainable living. CAPS aims to promote peace and security, provide vocational training, and develop work designs for homeless and unemployed people in society. The organization's major activities focus on supporting affected refugees to live sustainable lives without poverty by offering job training opportunities, disaster risk reduction, and food supply to people with disabilities through grassroots initiatives. By making sure that we attain to mission and vision we did not forget the pillars of our generation, kids activities(formal education), we also have livelihood activities.
