Exciting News from Muungano Youth Development Skills! We are thrilled to share that the beneficiaries of Muungano Youth Development Skills have successfully harvested the first batch of vegetables from our demonstration garden, This achievement is a huge milestone and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our participants, who have put their skills and training into action. The demonstration garden was established as a practical learning space where young people could gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and vegetable farming techniques. Seeing the fruits (and veggies!) of their hardwork has been incredibly rewarding for the participants, boosting their motivation and commitment. Encouraged by this success, many beneficiaries are now planning to replicate vegetable growing on a larger scale. They aim to expand their farming activities beyond the demo garden, looking to improve their livelihoods and contribute to local food security. This initiative not only empowers youth with valuable agribusiness skills but also promotes sustainable agricultural practices within the community. We look forward to seeing more green initiatives sprouting up as these young farmers take the next step toward scaling their vegetable farming efforts.

Last week on friday, Tomorrow Vijana is excited to have conducted a capacity-strengthening session on the use of KoboToolbox, a top humanitarian platform for simplifying data collection in the field. 21 members of the CLAN Consortium attended this session, gaining essential skills to improve their impact in humanitarian work. With these new tools and skills, they are now ready to gather and analyze data more efficiently, driving better outcomes and service delivery in their communities.

We are excited to share that CLAN Consortium, comprising Tomorrow Vijana, Relief Aid Foundation, NOPEI, Kazi Mbele Foundation, MAMA NZANGO, and Brave Heart, held a successful meeting aimed at fostering partnerships and future collaboration. The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation among members to better serve our communities and ensure a more impactful, coordinated approach to addressing local needs. This collaboration marks a significant step toward achieving shared goals and creating lasting change. Together, we are committed to building stronger, more resilient communities. Tomorrow Vijana is extending it sport clinics beyond the youth in Rwamwanja to support newly forcibly displaced and stateless communities. We've teamed up with Alight and UNHCR to provide footballs to children at the reception center in Rwamwanja Settlement, helping them find joy and heal from the trauma they've experienced. Together, we're making a difference!
