E-Pearls of Africa is a Refugee led organization based in Adagom 1 Refugee Settlement ,Ogoja Nigeria that promotes the cause and advancement of vulnerable young girls and women for the purpose of economic independence.E-Pearls seeks to address the largest problems suffered by young girls and women due to their gender ethnicity,cultural background, displacement or “Force Majeure”. E-Pearls fights for social justice and inclusion for the indigenous young girls and women. E-Pearls operates under the following thematic areas;GBV,MHPSS(Sports),Human Rights (SRHR),Empowerment,Climate Change, Education and Legal Protection (Rule of law ).Our mission is to reduce dependency and produce a productive society. Through our mindset reorientation programs and mentoring ,we intend to promote a productive society where talents can be commercialized,dependency reduced.Our vision is to see every young girl and woman become an asset to the society and take up leadership positions as well venture more into the STEM fields thereby empowering them to become self reliant. E-Pearls is currently carrying out a project titled “Advancing Girls Education and Gender Equality Through Digital Literacy” with the sole aim of ending the digital gender divide and striving for gender equality in technology . We envisage an Africa where the girl child will be seen as an agent of change and not necessarily a tool for exploitation.
