Refugees in Kakuma Refugee Camp face harsh climate conditions and heighten humanitarian needs.While the increasing impact of climate change continues to shock agriculture livelihoods,the primary source of survival recent wave of global humanitarian funding cuts or completely exit the camp,hence;putting a high expectation on RLO's like HHTO to fill the gaps.HHTO has been implementing climate change resillience and enviromental restoration activities within Kakuma Refugee camp.These include tree planting,climate illeteracy,biofencing activities,nursery management and HHTO's centre renovation

On 13th/03/2026, we in Kakuma have very few senior secondary schools in the camp. UNHCR has approached our RLOs to admit grade 10 students from Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kalobeyei, and the Host community to be admitted to RLO Secondary School (Morungole Secondary School) behind DRA field four. Currently, we have 1500 grade 10 students who have not joined any senior secondary school this term, so we have decided, as RLO, to take the initiative. UNHCR and other education partners will also be involved once we have accommodated them in our only RLO senior secondary school, which can serve the most vulnerable and needy students who have permission to study and achieve their dreamt goals.Since the LOCALIZATION CONTEXT IS ON-THEN WE US RLOS's WE HAVE DECIDED TO BE IN-FRONTLINE TO ACHIEVE THE DREAMT GOAL

ON 14th/february/2026,Education remains the stronger weapon against despair in Turkana west(Host community,Kakuma Refugee camp and Kalobeyei settlement,Education remains a distant dream for families.more than 300 children and 400 students grade 10(senior secondary students are out-of-school,many families are forced to work at Host business as casual workers to help their families survive.Our Organization strongly believes the chance to learn,dream and rebuild,through partnership from PORTICUS and COHERE,We are helping children who were once left behind return to classrooms,providing learning ,materials,psychosocial support and some learning spaces for those most affected by CATEGORIES.Each child who regains access for education represents a victory for HOPE and PEACE.These classrooms are not just places of learning,they are BEACONS of resillience,hope and Courage where futures are behind Rewritten,

Helping Hands through Loritit learning center ECDEs(WPE Center 4,Lokiding and Main Center in Nakoyo hade closing ceremonies that was colourful. The organization was represented by the CEO, Preogramme Coordinator and the Human Resource Officer

The session is for the Host community parental -Engagement meeting conducted in kakuma Educational Center next to Kakuma Chief's office,they were taught on being good parent and how to guide their children while they are at home and during School days.
