Hope for Bright Society
Hope for Bright society shortened as “H.B.S” is a refugee-led Community Based organization, founded in Kakuma refugee Camp, In the Western Part of Kenya in 2020. H.B.S goal is of promoting gender empowerment for fostering a bright future of women, young people and people with disabilities. With the objectives of building the foundation for further education and Vocational trainings on career orientation to marginalized individuals, that will help them gain valuable knowledge and skills allowing them generate income and bring something on the table for them to become self-reliant.
With the Mission of empowering women, young people and people with disabilities through Vocational trainings and livelihood skills, while advocating for their rights for fostering a self-reliance mindset. And we envision creating an inclusive society, where women, young people and people with disabilities actively take part in Decision making. As we believe that empowered women, young people and people with disabilities are agents of their own change and have a great role to play in the future generations bright future.
