Mission Innovation Centre for Peace and Development (MICPAD) is a non –profit refugee led organization that works to address the root causes of conflict and poverty through various empowerment initiatives. MICPAD was established in the year 2021 by a group of like-minded South Sudanese refugee youths in Uganda with its former name Truth Works International (TWI), after realizing the gaps and the refugee needs that can be provided by refugees themselves. Our mission is to equip and empower individuals, families and communities to resolve conflicts, overcome poverty, and address trauma through programs focused on peacebuilding, livelihood, education and evangelism. Since 2021, MICPAD has been working towards several objectives based on its strategic goals to contribute to the refugee peacebuilding, livelihood development and their spiritual growth in Bidibidi refugee settlement. Our goal is to see a peaceful, safe, empowered and prosperous refugee individuals, families and communities.
