Peace Building Cohesion & Integration

Youth and Children Holiday Empowerment Program (YCHEP) is an initiative that we implement every year during 3rd term holiday, aiming at positively engaging the refugee/host youths and children during their long holiday to foster peaceful coexistence through activities that enhances collaborations, relationships, team work, inclusion, cultural diversity and a sense of belonging such as sports, music, mentorship sessions and trainings. This is to mitigate conflicts among refugee and host youths that often rises as a result of high rates of idleness, drug abuse, fighting, theft and formation of gang groups and others during their holiday in search to fill-up their free time.
