Inside Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, 15 refugee children with hearing impairments are struggling to access quality education due to the lack of inclusive learning support and trained teachers. Many are unable to fully participate in classroom learning, putting their future at risk.

The Refugee Voice is launching an urgent fundraising campaign to raise USD 10,000 to support their relocation and enrollment into inclusive schools with trained teachers and specialized support.

Your support will help provide school fees, learning materials, safe learning environments, and access to quality education for these vulnerable children.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Momentum continues in our REFLOW (Refugee-Led Organic Waste Solutions) project! 🌱♻️

Today, participants moved from pit construction into the next critical stage of the composting process turning the decomposing organic material into a new pit. This step is essential for proper aeration, accelerating decomposition, and ensuring the production of high-quality organic manure.

Through this hands-on training, refugee youth and women are gaining practical, climate-smart skills that transform waste into valuable agricultural inputs promoting sustainability, improving soil health, and strengthening livelihoods within the community.

Step by step, we are building local capacity for greener solutions and self-reliance. 🌍💚

To day The Refugee Voice is pleased to fulfill a commitment made during last year’s community and parents meeting at New Generation Nursery School, our host institution. Following concerns raised by the School Management Committee regarding shortages of essential learning materials, we have today handed over four boxes of chalk and one box of pens to support classroom instruction.

Though modest, these supplies are vital to effective early childhood learning. We remain committed to strengthening collaboration between refugee and host communities and supporting practical solutions that enhance children’s education
