About Yes She Is For Peace And Development Organization

Yes She Is for Peace and Development Organization is a refugee-led, non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2025 to advance the rights and well-being of vulnerable refugee women, girls, and Persons with Specific Needs (PSNs). Based within refugee settlements, the organization works closely with communities to design and deliver programs in education, health, entrepreneurship, and social support, ensuring they address real and urgent needs. Our initiatives focus on empowering women by providing access to essential resources, tailored mentorship, and specialized training that equips them to succeed across different sectors. Through this work, we aim to foster self-reliance, strengthen community resilience, and promote a more just and inclusive society where every woman can thrive and contribute to positive change.

Menstrual Health and Hygiene Awareness Session 

Yes She Is for Peace and Development Organization successfully conducted a Menstrual Health and Hygiene Awareness Session today, in partnership with Nubian Queens, on 25th October 2025 at Kiryandongo Refugee Camp.

The session aimed to raise awareness about menstrual health management and to promote confidence and dignity among women and girls in the community.

We sincerely appreciate the collaboration and support from Nubian Queens, which helped make this important event a success. Together, we continue to empower women and girls and advocate for better menstrual health and hygiene.
